This is an amazing place for healing and overall wellness. I had been diagnosed with pedal and pulmonary edema (swelling due to fluid retention in the body, especially legs) almost 2 years back and had tried allopathic treatment for a long while. Although allopathic treatment was good but it was limited and did not treat my whole body. I took a chance and came to Dheemahi village during the monsoon of June 2025 and I was fascinated by the change in my body and overall wellness. The problem is not yet fully solved but i am confident that the momentum that has been created in the 15 days I stayed at the village will continue with the discharge medicines and advise given to me and eventually I will get rid of my problem. A big shoutout to the doctors who regularly monitored my progress - Dr Namitha, Dr Devika and Dr Alsabah and gave targeted, specific treatments for my specific problem. Big shoutout to the therapists Sreekanth and Majo who gave me amazing, strong massages and the entire kitchen staff for preparing lovely satvic , authentic Keralite food. Not to forget the house-keeping cleaning ladies and the medicine girls who gave me medicines every morning and evening. Everyone I interacted with was helpful in their own way to make my experience of 15 days wonderful. The saline swimming pool was also helpful in my overall recovery. Highly recommended if you want to to give the ancient science of Ayurveda a chance!
