Athreya exceeded my expectations in all categories. I came here for 15 days panchkarma therapy from US; typically people tend to come for 3-4 weeks. Everything worked out perfect - airport pickup, check-in process, daily consultations, therapy sessions, healthy yet delicious meals, yoga sessions. This was my first time Panchkarma; while most of the guests were returning for 2nd, 3rd time. The therapies were planned according consultation with Dr Sreejit and therapists Yash/Vibin were best to carry it out. These therapies were new to me, but Yadu/Bipin made sure I was comfortable. The property is super peaceful, lush green and very clean. I stayed in island campus room and very happy with the bathroom, bed and housekeeping services. The food lead Sudheesh was on top of everything, meals were delicious and he was super accommodating to any changes. Herbal water everyday was refreshing. Few of us from Athreya were able to do a nearby Lilly
This was my second time at Athreya Ayurvedic Centre, and just like my first visit, it was a fantastic experience. I came in with a back injury from power yoga
Athreya offers a holistic ayurvedic experience, enhanced by its serene location amidst the paddy fields that fosters a deep connection with nature. The regular medical reviews and follow-ups provide the reassurance that your well being is priority. The skilled therapists and helpful staff further contribute to a supportive and healing environment.
Athreya Ayurvedic Centre is top notch for diving into your wellness journey. From the initial engagement and consultation through all the treatments, Dr. Sreejit is clear on what to expect, what can or cannot be helped, and how. During the visit, the doctors, therapists, chefs, and all staff are tuned into what is needed for treatments, food, herbal medicines, etc. for optimal final results. The food is healthy and tasty. The centre is located beautifully in nature which also has a calming and rejuvenating effect.
The regimens can be challenging at times, but it is worth it. I came away with renewed energy, mental rejuvenation, hot-flashes gone, muscles calm, and two inches of visceral fat lost. I definitely feel my body was reset, is rid of toxins that inhibited my heath, and that it is now poised to continue optimal health and healing.
From the very first contact with Dr Sreejit and his team impressed by the professionalism and care that went into to ensuring that the Clinic could help and that I knew what to expect.
Nothing disappointed during the 3 weeks of my stay, the daily personalised treatments were at times challenging but were undertaken by experts in their field. Everything was explained and at every stage my care and wellbeing was clearly at the forefront of the therapists minds.
The treatment regime includes both wellbeing exercises (daily complimentary yoga and yoga nidra), dietary care as well as a wide range of treatments personalised to my individual needs.
The environment is great with fantastic rooms and social areas located in a beautiful part of Kerala. The
What a disappointment given the many very positive comments...
3 weeks of treatment and no major benefits in the weeks that followed! Barely a mini weight loss.
The center is poorly located, surrounded by water. Impossible to walk for example.
The staff is friendly and professional.
Very very disappointing food.
Treatments were ok and I really received a lot but where are the results!??
I therefore do not recommend this center at all.
I have been visiting Athreya since 2015, and in November 2023, it was my 5th visit to the place. The place is a blessing in my life, and whenever I require cure or rejuvenation, I come here.
For people who are looking for ayurveda treatment, this is one of the best places to be in India.
Dr. Sreejit, the chief physician, is highly skilled in the field whose understanding of patients' problems and its solution are sometimes astounding. My experience is that he goes far beyond general consultation and treatment and helps people in every possible way during and after the stay, which is very essential for overall well-being in the long term.
Over the years, I came across many repeat patients from across the world and have witnessed the team and place evolved, which is good to keep up with changing time.
As an Indian I would say that the price is reasonably placed, given that it includes accommodation, food, treatments, medicines during the stay, and the exceptional service provided by all the staff. I have firmly believed that similar to financial investment, one needs to invest in health regularly to keep getting return in the long term.
I must also point out that the place is not a fancy 4 or 5 star hotel but people who are genuinely looking for Ayurveda treatment and well being, this is a beautiful place made of traditional cottages with modern amenities in a village setting with high attention from doctors and staffs.
As a regular visitor, I hope the feedback helps readers in make their own decision and my high recommendation for the place as always!
First of all, the head doctor Dr. Sreejit is utmost professional and cares only about the welfare of his patients. Also, he
Those looking for peace and quiet will find it there, for sure.
If you're ready to take a look at yourself and your health, go there.
From my point of view, a certain stability of the psyche is a prerequisite for enduring the not always very simple therapies.
Dr Sreejit and Dr. Jayalakshmi were extremely competent and emphatic doctors with outstanding expertise.
The whole staff, but especially Sudheesh from the kitchen and my personal therapists Anandhu and Agith gave everything for me, thank you very much.
I 100% recommend Athreya Ayurvedic Resort and I am so thankful to everyone who made my 28 day stay so special.
PS: Athreya is not a hospital. This should be considered in terms of care if you decide to do so.
They provide good service , Good ambience and nice quiet area , too expensive
