Fantastic location although the narrow road to the main entrance can be a bit tricky to find if you're visiting for the first time. The view from the room is amazing. If you are looking for a place where time doesn't exist- this is the place. Quiet, clean, ocean waves rocking you to sleep every night... like stepping into another world. The view from the room was amazing - you can almost touch the ocean. The rock formation just adds to the natural beauty of this property. Beach is private, so it's clean and empty. The hotel also has very well maintained pool and lounge chairs. Towels are always prepared and ready to use. You don't have to go and get them from reception. There's Ayurveda treatments offered at the hotel, which I would rate also as 5 star experience. Cleaning service is immaculate. Restaurant offers different variety of food - vegetarian and non vegetarian. I suggest taking advantage of fresh juice - they have a huge variety. Breakfast is continental/ local/ international. Water is delivered to your room upon request, and there is no limit, which can be so convenient. The staff at this hotel will go out of their way to fulfill any wish of yours to make your stay a 5 star experience. My special thanks to the reception girls- they were absolutely amazing.
Everything you need is just within walking distance. Walking to the left There's a "tourist " street, by the public beach, full of shops and restaurants. Going straight and to the right- it's a way to local markets and shops, fresh juice stands, etc. But I suggest taking a tuck tuck because you'll walk uphill.

I felt like I just had the best time of my life. I cannot think of anything else in terms of Ayurveda Wellness other than Rockholm now. Right from the check in I was thrilled by the warmth and welcome offered by the staff there. My room had a view that was nothing less than heaven. As it is an Ayurveda resort, I was immediately given a doctors appointment just after the check-in was done. After a brief consultation I was suggested some treatments which was a part of the package I booked. Food there is prepared with utmost care and precautions to align with your on going treatment. The view from restaurant was breathtaking as well.

One of the nicest swimming pool areas I have ever witnessed, and the pool was crystal clear all the time. Staff was eager to help everytime we called them. I went to the pool almost every morning and evening.

One of the main Highlight for my stay is the Yoga experience in Morning and Evening. Our Yoga instructors were so helpful especially Mr Abhilasha Soman which identified my hamstring stiffness and helped me to overcome as much as possible during my stay.

Moving on to Ayurveda treatments, I was simply amazed by the knowledge of the therapists. Therapists were focusing on the suggested areas of my body every day and they kept checking if I was comfortable. I used to eagerly wait for Ayurveda Massage everyday.

Staff at restaurant was very welcoming and helpful, they even prepared a dessert on my Birthday specially for me. Also they were kind enough to fulfil all my daily requests for the food.

Beach access is so nice, that you feel like you are just a door step away from the beach. They also have spread a number of beds near the beach so that you can enjoy the waves crashing on the rocks.

I would suggest everyone to at least come here for minimum of 10 days, anything less will not feel enough

Hotel designed so that our vacations become miraculous. It is a hotel to learn good habits of life and staying a minimum of 2 weeks you see the result. It is not a hotel for 1 night. It is a hotel to experience Ayurveda wisdom.(Translated)

Rockholm Beach Resort is beautifully situated. From the restaurant and the rooms you have a beautiful view of the sea. There is a pool in the middle of beautiful green grounds and direct access to the beach. There is also an open yoga hall with a view of the sea where yoga is offered several times a day. In between, there are other activities, such as henna tattos, in which you can participate. There is incredibly delicious Ayurvedic food and wonderful massages. The whole team is very friendly and leaves no wish unfulfilled. The cute village of Kovalam and a larger beach as well as the lighthouse are within 5 minutes walking distance. A wonderful holiday which I can recommend to everyone.

The facility charged too much and very little to offer. The only good thing is the location. Everything else is below average.
The check in was poorly managed. It took too long to get a room. If you want to pay that kind of money you are better off to try a 5 star hotel.

The balcony had good scenic view of the light house , the cliff and the beach . When we went for dinner at the restaurant at 730 pm the whole place was full of flying insects and the staff recommended that we order room service . The food at dinner and breakfast was just average. But the cherry on the cake which made me write the review was the ordeal we had to put up with on check out . At check out the staff was pointing out that toiletries( shower gel . shampoo and conditioner ) was missing from toilet . Guys , you must be really kidding . After paying 17k for a night you mean to say that I tried to walk away with the cheap stuff (medimix soap being one of them) that you provide in your bath??? And to top it the staff concerned was telling some of the guests take it unknowingly thinking its a takeaway . So they put their guest regularly through this nonsense??

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Got to have some Ayurveda treatments, beautiful rooms with the ocean view and delicious food!!! We are grateful how helpful and kind were the people from the staff! That place was magical.
